SHIPPING METHODS AND DEADLINES
Ground Shipping
All orders placed by 3:00 p.m. CST may be processed within 48 hours (business days only). Once an order has shipped, your order should arrive within 7 business days (under normal shipping conditions). Shipping dates are automatically calculated based on desired arrival date and recipient's shipping address. Please be aware when placing an order: Because of the heat sensitivity of our products, Olympic Granola may not ship your product just prior to a weekend, to avoid sitting in a shipping warehouse that may not be temperature controlled. All shipments will take place Monday – Thursday, unless prior approval has been given.
UPS Ground shipping delivery dates are estimated, based on the map below. Depending on the day of the week you place your order, you can usually expect the following once your order has been processed:
2nd Day Air Delivery
All orders placed by 3:00 p.m. CST may be processed within 48 hours (business days only) and delivered 2 business days from that date. For example:
- Orders placed on Monday can ship Wednesday to be delivered Friday.
- Orders placed on Thursday can ship Monday to be delivered Wednesday.
Next Day Air Delivery
All orders placed by 3:00 p.m. CST may be processed within 48 hours (business days only) and delivered the next business day after that. For example:
- Orders placed on Monday can ship Wednesday to be delivered Thursday.
- Orders placed on Thursday can ship Monday to be delivered on Tuesday.
Saturday Delivery
Olympic Granola does not currently offer special Saturday deliveries via its shipping options. Furthermore, UPS does NOT consider Saturday or Sunday to be standard delivery days.
SHIPPING DETAILS
Olympic Granola ships all of our packages via UPS from our Production Facility located in North Branch, MN. We do NOT ship to Alaska and or Hawaii, but does ship to the continental United States.
Street Address Required
We cannot not ship to P.O boxes, APO's or FPO's as UPS requires a numerical street address for all deliveries.
Expected Delivery Times
UPS delivers from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Typically they will deliver to businesses first, and then to residential addresses.
Signature Required?
Residential addresses typically do not require a signature and if left, UPS drivers are instructed to leave packages "out of sight & out of weather". HOWEVER, if there is no one there to accept the package, and the UPS driver does not feel comfortable leaving it for ANY reason, they are NOT required to leave the package.
Business addresses do require a signature, but not necessarily from the recipient whose name is on the box. Anyone at the location is able to sign for the package. Please be sure to include the company name, floor/suite number, and contact phone number if you are shipping to an office building.
Important note on apartments: When delivering to apartment buildings, UPS drivers typically do not leave packages without signature unless there is a concierge, a mail room or a building manager available to sign on behalf of the recipient. Requesting “Please leave without signature” as part of the shipping address does not guarantee that the package will be released without signature. Please be sure to include the apartment number – delivery will be delayed or possibly returned without this address information.
Three Delivery Attempts
Following each delivery attempt, UPS will leave a note on the door following each delivery attempt. UPS will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to Olympic Granola.
